Adelaide University Economics Tour.

On the 9th of April, forty Year 12 St Peter’s College students were the guests of the Adelaide University School of Economics.

Together they sat in on a First Year Economics lecture about Money and Interest Rates and then moved into tutorials to discuss the measurement and types of unemployment.

St Peter’s College is so fortunate to have this opportunity for our senior economics students to experience tertiary learning, and realise that their studies at school have helped give them an excellent foundation for further study. Our students acquitted themselves in the tutorial with great maturity and impressed the tutors with their economic understanding and analysis.

Special thanks to Mr Mark Colsey our Careers Counsellor and Ms Fiona Davies from the School of Economics for again organising this wonderful opportunity to help our students prepare for the next stage of their education.
