Collaboration to help communities ‘flourish’
The outcomes of the collaboration of ten schools in the Asia-Pacific region across the Independent and Government School sectors, will pave the way for the wellbeing of future generations and the framework for the newly formed Asia-Pacific Positive Education School Alliance (PESA).
Meeting at host school, St Peter’s College on Wednesday 6 June, the focus of the day will be to share policy and practice in the development of Wellbeing and Positive Education Programs.
“Schools play are a vital role in developing resilience in our youth enabling them to ‘flourish’ both as individuals, and within their communities” stated Dr Mathew White, Director of Wellbeing and Positive Education, instigated by the Peninsula School, at St Peter’s College who has been invited to lead the Education Division of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA). “The outcomes of this Alliance, has the ability to really make a difference to this generation.”
