Leading university partners with St Peter’s College for a third year to deliver positive psychology course

One of the world’s leading universities for Education partnering for the 3rd year with St Peter’s College to offer a positive education professional certificate in Adelaide.

St Peter’s College will partner for the third year with the Centre for Positive Psychology at the University of Melbourne’s Graduate School of Education. to offer the Adelaide delivery of the Professional Certificate in Education (Positive Education) in Semester 2 2016. The Melbourne Graduate School of Education is Number 1 in Australia for Education, top 10 in the world (QS World University Rankings by Subject).

This Certificate is the first postgraduate course of its kind in Australia and is ideal for participants who are new to Positive Education or may have already undertaken some initial professional development in the area.

Taught on site at the school in Adelaide from 12-13 August 2016, 9 September, 28 October-29 October and 18 November 2016. Each subject will be delivered intensively, including an initial 2-day session followed by a 1-day session.

The Professional Certificate in Education (Positive Education) is a flagship award from the Centre for Positive Psychology at the University of Melbourne.

The Centre was established with the generous support of John Higgins through the inaugural Gerry Higgins Chair, and makes a significant contribution to the field of Positive Psychology through leading collaborative research, teaching and engagement and the development of world-class initiatives and programs, such as the Master of Applied Positive Psychology and the Professional Certificate in Positive Education.
