Transforming a community to flourish.
Enhancing wellbeing and strengthening culture are the two key components in a six-day training program to be undertaken by 100 St Peter’s College teaching and support staff in mid July. With an aim to increase resilience, engage in discussions, develop strategies around positive education and gain a greater insight and understanding of themselves; the training program will provide staff the skillset in which to apply positive psychology and wellbeing within the classroom, pastorally, in co-curricular and their interaction with the community as a whole.
The course will be provided by a training team from the Positive Psychology Centre of the University of Pennsylvania in the United States.
“The Positive Education and Wellbeing course is one of the most important educational initiatives at St Peter’s College for many years,” according to Simon Murray, Headmaster.
